About the CIIT, Vehari

CIIT is a multi-campus public sector degree awarding institute established in 1998. It is ranked among top 250 Asian Universities by QS University Rankings since 2014 and attains three stars in QS Rankings. Times Higher Education ranked CIIT as No. 1 University in Pakistan. CIIT has six faculties, 18 Departments and 10 Research Centers working in its eight campuses. CIIT Vehari was established in 2008 in the city that is known for its diverse socio-economic life in the region. CIIT is playing significant role in the socio-economic development of the region through its state of the art educational infrastructure and academic excellence. Including the Management Sciences Department, the campus has three fully functional academic departments offering 11 degree programs. CIIT Vehari stands out in the region for its research productivity as its faculty and students actively participate in the research that is published regularly in leading academic journals.

About Us

Vehari is the centre place for diverse socio-economic life in the region. Vehari District was established in 1976. It has an area of 4,373 sq. km and an estimated population of 3.5 million. The district shares its boundaries with Bahawalnagar and Bahawalpur districts on the Southern side, Pakpattan district on the Eastern, Lodhran district on the Western and Sahiwal and Khanewal districts on the Northern side....
